Bengaluru Parking Policy 2.0
Parking Policy 2.0 for Bengaluru was published by DULT in December 2020. The goal was to review the existing parking policy and further strengthen its use as an instrument to discourage the use of personal vehicles and ease road space for seamless movement of people and vehicles, This policy was approved by the Government of Karnataka in February 2021 (G.O. UDD 208 PRJ 2020, BENGALURU dated 02-02-2021) The parking policy for Bengaluru was first prepared in 2012 and was adopted by the civic agency, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP).
